Sporkle is an website with games and interactive learning activities. For example The WorldStories library is a diverse collection of new and traditional stories brought together from around the globe in languages spoken by pupils in UK schools. An email address is required.

BBC Bitesize A little bit difficult to navigate but here’s a quick link to some exercises for basic to intermediate students Topical news stories with exercises to follow. Level 1 is written in simple present tense in short sentences with difficult vocab explained. Exercises follow each news story. New stories uploaded daily
