Management, Staff and Volunteers
The Management Committee (Board of Trustees) has legal and financial responsibility for the organisation. The Chair of the trustees is Bill Chambers assisted by the Treasurer, Neil Cunningham, the Secretary Denia Kincade and eight other trustees. Our Patrons are Baroness Caroline Cox; Lord David Alton and Louise Ellman M. P.
An AGM is held each year in February or March
ALM is run by the centre manager, Ewan Roberts. There are 4 full time and 3 part-time staff including, a case worker, destitution manager, and special needs social worker.

ALM has a team of around 130 dedicated volunteers from a wide range of backgrounds, many of whom are refugees and asylum seekers. They perform a range of roles within our projects to support and improve the lives of asylum seekers and refugees, enabling them to integrate and participate in UK society.
We also have students on Social Work placements from John Moores, Edge Hill, Hope and Chester Universities and Liverpool College.
